Crystal Moonrise

Warm above
Cold below

Fog
Rain
Sleet
Snow

Ice

Branches groan
Complain about the weight
Shard sharp
Growing glistening
Tempting fate

Nature’s pruning
Cold shears call
Do the work
Limbs laden fall

Ice day
Sunbeams stray
Off frozen treetops
And grass shards play

Until day's end
Darkness descends
To hush the Moonrise
Crystals bend
The shimmering beams
To me they send

O, that is so beautiful. Perfect. I started to copy and paste a phrase to say THIS!....then another to say THIS! ....and then THIS:
Until day's end
Darkness descends
To hush the Moonrise
Crystals bend
The shimmering beams
To me they send

I included only the final THIS, else I'd have reprinted your entire masterpiece in my comments.

The photos are splendid, too.

One of my most favorite of all your posts. What a gift you have and share with us.

Crystals bend
The shimmering beams
To me they send

Cold shears call, do the work, Limbs laden fall.

That, for some reason, sounds very painful. My brain keeps replacing the tree branch with a human arm.
