She whispers my name... Only I can hear

It's not just about guns, or video games, violence on TV.
The mass shootings and school attacks we see so much of today.
These are the acts of madmen.

Madmen are and madmen act; they always have.
What produces them I am not certain but I am sure their numbers and the forms they take are crafted by our culture.
It's about who we are, who we are not, and who we want to be.
Who we claim to be; the walk we walk, the talk we talk.
It's about a Nation of selfish, greedy, ultra paranoid, small minded, mean spirited people.
We say one thing and do another.
Thus a supposed Christian nation can turn it's back on the neediest of it's people.
There is a word that can be used to describe our culture.
It comes from the Hopi language.
Difficult to translate into English...
Essentially "Crazy Life" with the emphasis being on the crazy.
A specific and peculiar kind of crazy.
Life out of balance , Life in turmoil.
Life in disharmony with the natural world that sustains it.
A state of life that calls for another way of living.

Life as suicide.
There is no word in English to describe what we have become.
But I do believe that this invisible rift in our culture so aptly described as Koyaanisqatsi has much to do with the production of the modern day madman.

I think it is not just confined to one nation or two, it is spreading like a wild fire. It is the way of evolution I guess.

Every nation has its own idiosyncrasies, the naturally inclination toward stark materialism and finding "utility factor" everything, is the peculiarity of Americans. Even if you talk metaphysics, they try to measure it with the parameters of human utility factor.

Madmen born in the womb of chaos, when the mind is in chaotic state, when looking glass is too narrow, it shows only own personality and his well-being and nothing, and when there is ample time and you don't know how to spend, it is when these madmen germinate in the womb.

Yes it will spread like wildfire I am afraid that's true.
